Finding the "right" contractor
Whether you’re looking for a small remodeling project, or a new home, there are many “unseen” parts of it thatshould be done correctly using the proper techniques and materials. Alternatively, it can be done taking short cuts, which in many cases, you might not realize until problems arise down the road. When choosing a contractor, there is obviously a trust factor involved, making it important to choose one with a high sense of integrity and professionalism.
Each construction project is really a prototype - something that has never before been done in exactly the same manner, with exactly the same people, and using exactly the same materials. As such, your main concern should not be “price”, but the caliber of the person, or people, you will be hiring.
We don’t take short cuts. We want to be up front in telling you that, so if you’re shopping prices, our price will probably not be the lowest, and you will be wasting your time with us. We prefer compliments about us, to complaints to us.
For the above reasons, expect us to explain to you the “how’s” and “why’s” we intend to construct your project as we prefer. Only by understanding what is involved, and why various aspects should be done a certain way, can you make an informed and intelligent decision. We want our work and services to be correct and long lasting, as well as beautiful!
